SOCIAL MEDIA

Social media can be beneficial when trying to connect individuals and businesses alike. I have experience in creating and publishing content along with certifications with both Hootsuite and Hubspot.

HTML/ DESIGN

I was able to learn the fundamentals of HTML and CSS in my style and design class by taking online courses through Codecadamy. I worked in both DreamWeaver and TextWrangler in order to edit the code used to create this website.

QUALTRICS

In my survey methods class, our final project involved creating a survey using qualtrics for a client. Afterwards, we were able to present to them a potential campaign they could implement in the future.

ABODE CREATIVE CLOUD

In order to create this digital resume and portfolio, I worked proficiently with Dreamweaver to edit the code and layout for my website. Majority of the work found in my portfolio was made with either InDesign or Photoshop. Specifically, my magazine, brochure and infographic.

AP STYLE

Part of the curriculum in the public relations department required students to take foundation journalism and newswriting classes that taught Associated Press Style. After, it was mandatory for students to follow these guidelines (grammar, in-text citation, bibliography.)

WORDPRESS

In both my classes and internship experiences, I was able to use WordPress to publish daily blog posts and feature stories. In addition, in my writing for public relations class, our final project involved creating a media kit using WordPress. The blog section of my portfolio was made using WordPress.

PUBLIC SPEAKING

While connecting with individuals via social media is important, I believe that being persuasive and articulating one's thoughts in front of an audience is a valuable skill to have. In addition to taking a public speaking class, I have given numerous presentations and spoken in front of large audiences throughout my time at Auburn.

CANVA

I worked with Canva in order to create a variety of projects throughout my academic career. In the portfolio section on my website, you will find an infographic I created to describe the strengths and benefits of different social media platforms.

MICROSOFT OFFICE

I have used Microsoft extensively. The programs I am confident in are Word, PowerPoint and Excel. The majority of my writing, projects and presentations have been created by using one of the programs mentioned.
